my daughter is 12 on thurs and she asked was I going to let her have a glass of pink champagne like I usually do on her birthday ,, she mused out loud that she loved it so much she wondered would she be an alcoholic when she was older....bed red flag for me, her granny on her dads side a major alcoholic, time for me to get a grip and stop promoting this crappy repetative behaviour that runs in her jeans anyhow.

What did you say back to her? Are you going to give her the champers? My daughter is 9 and I think already she 'notices' things.
Starts nothing embarrassing about it - something to be proud of actually.
