my daughter is 12 on thurs and she asked was I going to let her have a glass of pink champagne like I usually do on her birthday ,, she mused out loud that she loved it so much she wondered would she be an alcoholic when she was older....bed red flag for me, her granny on her dads side a major alcoholic, time for me to get a grip and stop promoting this crappy repetative behaviour that runs in her jeans anyhow.

What did you say back to her? Are you going to give her the champers? My daughter is 9 and I think already she 'notices' things.

Im going to buy pink lemonade and really make an effort to stop drinking, I seriously dont want her to drink and I need to stop been a bad example, but I never stick at it too long, sick of myself.

limers i no what you mean,one of my daughters is 20 & she thinks its great to go out and get legless,i am slowly trying to get through to her using my past life as an example,its another up hill struggle.
