THE NEXT DAY THREAD - DECEMBER

Time zones just shifted so twas mostly Aussies then now the other side is waking up! so chat is getting more crowded.

I try to take mine on an empty stomach Starty.. first thing in the morning and again before lunch.
Am a bit concerned by how amino acid therapy is viewed in this country as suspicious and dangerous.. so am keen to get back on a diet that will lessen the need for supps.

For now though, it's helping me stay AF so I'm gonna take 4 three times a day.
Did you see my post in the amino thread?

Am I getting old ? Or is 'chat' just getting exhausting ????

If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

yep I saw your post. Cant imagine why there is suspicion re amino acid therapy.
Have you read the book, the Mood Cure by Julia Ross? Supposed to be excellent.
Of course food is the best way to get nutrients but I believe that when our bodies/minds are out of whack for example through abuse, depression etc. we need greater amounts of nutrients, that probably wouldnt be available through diet alone.
I know that I am much better while taking them.

Chat has always been exhausting Bridge.. that's why I hardly ever go there... too many people talking all at once to cross purposes. This is much nicer.

I must be off too. Night Mame & Starty, Mwah!!

                    Absolutely right Starty,
I had the same experience as you described - went off my supps and crashed a month or so after... has taken me all this time to realise it was the supps I needed
                    Silly me... all's well now.

                      night everyone !!

I have to try to just snooze tonight as I am on night watch. It is virtually impossible particularly as he doesn't sleep very well himself. I'm off now to listen to Inspector Morse on audio book........!!

                                Morning all,
Hey, I'm sure you give "Good Gig" Mr G, and may it be an enjoyable day/night for you!
Gosh, I am very unhelpful with the pressie thing as it depends a lot on what kinda kids they are (are the 'they already have everything' type or the 'they need everything' type). My nieces & nephews are the ages you describe but they all have everything. I've tried all kinds of 'thought provoking' things but in general they just think I'm their wierd aunt with a nutso sense of humour.. they are probably right..
My kids just chuckle in wonderment and say 'they totally don't get it mum'
Hope your evening was restful Mame.
                                Have a great day all!
