And this is absolutely not directed at anyone or anything on this thread or website. It's just important to me in that it gave me permission to feel my own feelings. Saw Toni Childs was appearing in Melb. in Jan and went to book a ticket. She's on at The Corner in Richmond, one of my old stomping grounds (along with the Renown, Albion, etc) ... and it's a standing room only gig. Weep. I'm too bloody old for that sort of thing.

G - you're a cheeky bugger!!! I'm looking forward to Christmas - s'great fun for the kiddies. I'm the chirpy Christmas fairy...we were at a barbie on sat night & everyone was telling of their worst presents ever (sweat bands at 8, book ends at 7 etc) & I couldn't think of a bad present when it got to my turn...I could only recall my favourite presents. Bet there's no Nick Cave song for that huh??!!!
Anyway, off to have lunch with a friend today - thinking about seeing James beforehand...but he made me very sore when I saw him on Sunday!

I have to try and wrap my boys presents today, but the boys are at each other throats at the mo ... dont you just love school hols..... hopefully later they will play outside and I can shut myself in my bedroom and get started on them.
Whats everyone up to on xmas day?
We will all get up here and the boys will open their presents that are in their stocking then we will have breakfast and get dressed then the boys will open the rest of their prestents, then its into the pool to have some fun then a nice barbie through out the day, then we are round our friends house on boxing day.
well I hope you all get your pre-xmas jobs done today

Knock their heads together....throw em out in the back yard...leave bowl of fresh water......lock door......make self snack with soft cheese, sourdough bread freshly brewed coffee......wrap presents at leisure.......
