Had an o/seas call centre ring for a survey once. Chick with accent asked for Mr. Fookallo. I gradually 'fused' Mr. Fookallo, with/to the 'correct pronunciation', Mr. Fuckalot, and persuaded the very polite young woman to call me that for the course of the survey. I was pissed of course, so enjoyed wasting my, and their time. It was....Mr. fuckalot this, and mr. fuckalot that, with the emphasis becoming more and more on the first syllable. It amused my little pickled mind for awhile. I used to even hope debt collector's would ring me sometimes, just for another dynamic to the day. This kind of thing could often be the highlight to my day. What a silly boy.

Hi all,

feeling a bit grumpy myself (but not for the same reason) ........ we have been having not so great weather here and it leaves me a bit of a "cant be bothered doing anything" sort of mood, which then leaves me frustrated with myself. Yesterday the weather was so bad we went into ton in search of a movie, but everyone else in Wellington seemed to have the same idea and the one we got tickets for we had to wait for 2 hours for. (Saw Avatar - not my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised!). The days mood was not helpedd when we opened the mail that had arrived on Xmas Eve to discover that our power company reckons we owe them $3,0000 We are equally convinced that we do not and that for at least the 10th time in the last 12 months we are going to have an argument with them (the meter readers keep getting our meters mixed up)


Last day of public holidays today and I hope my supps arrive in the mail sometime over the next couple of days ..........!
