Mr G, funy how life sometimes give just what you need when you need it, i had my first drinking dream sunday night. I woke up so dissapointed with me, for drinking wine out of a wooden cup( it seems its ok out of wood?WTF?)woke up convinced i was hungover, was halfway to work before i run the whole thing through my mind and decided i was still AF... lol, freaky.

Isn't it a weird experience to wake up in the morning and automatically think 'Oh Christ, what happened last night'....and then you realise that you actually KNOW ?

Morning all - yup - I've had those horrible bolt awake dreams where in despair I think "oh shit, I did it again" only to wake up properly and put the events of the previous night together and realise it was just a big bad dream ...

It's raining steadily here also so in honour of World Fabric Day, I will actually wear some for a change.

Yeah Angel ... I wish you were here too!! I've been thinking I must call BH while I'm up here ... although I'm a long way from her and dont have any transport.

Ficks - Ive never done the housefrau thing, but I have to say that I really enjoy those times like this week where I can be at home and get lots of work done (quiet and no interruptions!) but also potter around doing cleaning and cooking and having cups of tea in the sun.

And I feel the need to 'fess up that I'm not being totally AF at the moment. I'm staying with friends who live just down the road from my niece (at whose house I am spending the days. My brother came to stay with her when he came out of the hospice ...... but her need for flexibility at the moment has tested her employers patience. So I'm here mainly because it allows her to go to work all day and every day this week without worrying that anything will happen. And my brother sleeps a lot of the time anyway, so I'm actually able to get a bit of work done). Anyway, both houses operate on the "normal" NZ practice of coming home from work and cracking open a bottle of wine and I have been partaking. I haven't been getting shit-faced .... but I've wanted to. I know that this sounds really pathetic, but my goal for this week is that I wont do any secret drinking. I find it hard to be AF in this environment, even harder to only have one or two glasses of wine, but I know that if I do any of the secretive stuff then I'll be toast.

That is the extent of my plan at the moment ....... and to get in as many AF days as possible. But I aspire to be a quiet achiever too.

Well I have an evening off from tee-ball tonight but my boys all 3 of them need new shoes...I was hopping to wait until they broke up from school but thats not going to happen, at least I will avoid the rush in the holidays.
