Pan - I tried on a pair of those shorts...thought 'maybe just at home' but then my knees haven't seen the light of day since about 1987 so I'm not about to start now! I'm so sorry to hear your hubby's being a prick - you don't deserve it.
Mame - sounds lovely, big smoochies to the Boozer-no-more from me.
Hawney must have thrown on her blunnies, hat, protective eye & hand things, slapped on some sunscreen and be out there doing stuff, weeding the garden maybe?? In all her glory...
Bridge - you gonna see that guy again?? Just one thing - if he turns out to be MrRight, make sure hid first name isn't Always. I've met him - he seems OK at first but he gets pretty painful quickly.

Nah - bit nippy this morning so I had to add a singlet.
Our road is having a Christmas get-together tonight. Our road is about 9km long and there are only six houses. Although we all do that one-finger wave as we pass each other in the car we actually never stop to chat or socialise. So, tonight should be a hoot.

Afternoon all
Well I wished there was 48 hours in a day as I have so much to do and not enough time to do it!!!!
I bought my mum one of those swarts crystal things today for xmas and I got entered into a lucky dip so I got my youngest to pick a little parcel out for me and he only picked the top prize....it was a heart shaped pendant worth $1200 WOW what a star my boy is today.
Plus some more good news my eldest and middle boy have got through to compete in to the state champions for tee-ball....plus there is more.....my eldest and youngest boys have got the end of year book award in their school.....I think I am the most proudest mum In Western Australia right now.
So I hope all you lovely people are haveing a great day just like I am having right now.:dancin:

Happy to report that I gave BH hugs/love/regards/smocchies from everyone who requested it. In true form she not only kept me entertained, but the whole of the rest of the cafe. It took us 10 minutes to get to a table as she started on a story and all the counter staff were hanging on her every word, so consequently they were a bit slow in noticing that I wanted some ice and a glass for my juice :H:H:H
I hadn't heard the stories from the Irish meet-up in person (and Hi to you Draggy!!), and I laughed a lot (BH tells a great story!!!) Meeting up with her is always a great tonic ........ and was absolutely what I needed this afternoon as we had had a little medical issue with my brother over the last 24 hours, so I took him back to the Hospice this morning. Went in to see him this afternoon and he is 200% better, but they are going to keep him in overnight for observation.
TF - Bridge asks an interesting question - which finger? Over here it is always index finger (and usually on the right hand), but I wonder whether there are geographical variations in this??
anyway, hope your Xmas thing goes well!
Bridge - did you get your adventure today??!
