'Morning, all you troopers. T, good news on the dingo. I know you'll be happy to get your other 'girl' back working with you! LOL Catch, honey, sounds like things are tough for you, but a bright spot on the horizon! Talk to your children daily, encourage them to share with you. The world will always be full of bullies and unhappy people who only feel good about themselves by trying to degrade others. Once we learn to see that, it's easy to feel sorry for them and let them make fools of themselves. MaryAnne, this shift work doesn't seem to agree with you, does it? I'd recommend you try for another shift, if you can. That may help your emotional state some too. Just my opinion, you know. But for now, keep plugging, things will get better.

I just faxed cv off to an outpatient rehab facility...................it is old, so has mostly research on it, but maybe will get me something?? Mary Ann, I know it's hard, but try this. Straighten yourself as much as you can, and slowly take breaths, thinking positive thought in, negative thoughts out. Very SLOW. It helps, really. Truly, our outlook sometimes determines our outcome. NEVERNEVERNEVER be negative about anything in your past/work history when in an interview. Always be honest, but with a postive spin when talking to possible employers. They want honesty, but not drama, and that's how they see our problems. PLUS, thinking things are better makes us FEEL things are better, and the people we love see a happier person. Just saying, hon. Love you big time!

Rubes, you are great, I practice that very very often............more often now, believe me!! Am reading this delightful book............Eat, Love Pray, which was recommended to me by a nurse who no longer works at my facility (for good reason as you know)..............I am also reading the power of now and practicing the power of now.........wonderful thinking,feeling..............love him as an author!!!(Eckhart Tolle, strange guy, but he is great!! )

you are wonderful, cannot truly wait for February, really, we WILL get together this time...........I have already requested off for the 26-28th!! YAY!!:happy::wd::yay::clapclap: Feeling the freedom in between the pain........................freedom feels so much better!!!!

Thx Ruby you know now my daughter is not on her laptop she spends more time day stairs with us, she reminds me of me she is very shy but not with people she really knows she at that age 13 (teenage) where they dont want to talk my son is very different he so out going. Mr T is dingo ur dog i hope im not being stupid! anyway Mr try and take it easy hope the hip gets better.:l MA I think i try to get that book but could not get it a few others that interested me in the reading thread awhile back not sure if they are from the USA....
Looks like i spoke to soon about my brother rang him Y/day and he was out of it drinking and smoking wacky stuff he cant remember me talking to him Y/day i know ive done that many times myself cant remember).... he does have the church that supports him but he said the other week he had to do this testimony because they thought he was ready for it( which i would of not thought so) he stood up and told them everything i know i have done this in group sessions when i felt I was ready on my own grounds, but i dont think i could of done this in church.
I dont think i can take control of his money again this time round,( i mean how many times can you hit rock bottom? im finding it hard for myself and really want to get back on track and make this work for me , good news other half got the job im so please, but he to is not feeling right in himself not sure if he got depression ! where his been out of work so long. ( plus i dont think ive help much i have never moan at him to get a job, but i think its my drinking when ive got out of control and cant remember the hurtful thinks i have said to him)
We have snow here today im thinking if i should place a bet in the betting office, that it might snow! it not snow on xmas day in the uk well not since i been born!.

REALLY tired yesterday, all this runrunrunning catching up with me, so I went to bed about 7:30 last night. I'll be happy when Christmas is here! Have to get my day started now; off to meet the floor refinisher, check on my elderly aunt, pick up meds, do some Christmas shopping and gift wrapping, etc.,etc.,etc. Have a safe and happy day. It's a cliche, I know, but the power of positive thinking DOES work. Decide that no matter what happens short of tragedy and world panic, you WILL make this the best day it can be. And remember, there are people here who care about you and your struggles and achievements.

Catch, I'm sorry about your brother, and know you love and want to help him, but you have to get yourself right FIRST, before you can do anything for anyone else. I understand about hurting those we love when we're drunk; it's something I regret the most about my past. We can't change that, only start today to repair the damage. Again, work on yourself first, but in the mean time, give him all the support and encouragement you can. Be sure you let him know how proud of him you are about finding this job. Try to bring some joy into both your lives each day. :hug:

I am sitting here alone, nice listening to some really nice music (owl city, fireflies and saltwater room) recommend them if you can download..............mellow, good stuff................Sorry Catch, I tried to save my brother so many times over the years and ended up losing him 8/1/05.................sad, drunk on his harley davidson...............at least he was happy when he died...............

not good here, lonely, mike is home being an ass as usual...................oh well, I have my bedroom/refuge.......................thank GOD for small favors.............

Woke up at 4:45, and now I'm sleepy. Have a BD party at 11:30 for step-granddaughter's baby boy, family dinner at 1:00 that I have to cook for, would rather crawl back in bed for a week! One of my eye's is totally red, don't know why. Oh, well, off to cook.

well thank you cowgal im a mess right now hurting and i have to work well i dont have to buti have to meet with for some more work .. got to love the rain bring way more work then i need right now .. had a meeting at 9 yesterday and then had to go to shop and see the mess there all the work i did ..bad leaky BAD LEAKY HEHEHEHEH and well got a few more calls about water problems .. and there more .. but im only one man and i would love to have mny sons working with .. but that another story .. well anyway still trying to heal my back well hip its all connected anyway ..
