Back from the coal face and once again I cannot believe how grateful I am to be sober.
I had a heart wrenching conversation with one of the guys today, the pain that came from him made me want to say "I dont blame you for drinking, I would too......"

Thanks Wally, sometimes its so hard to listen to but I know it means a lot to these people.
This particular guy is nearly blind through drinking. He said "you know what the worst thing about not being able to see is? I cant see your face"
Honestly how I didnt start sobbing, I dont know. But it was tough.Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008
