        He has no control over what he receives. Sent out a blanket e-mail (even home) not to send him any e-mails not work related yesterday. I THINK they are after someone else, and Hubs was somehow in the chain. He CAN retire immediately, but isn't really ready. The whole thing is totally fucked up, if you knew how the company bends over backward to accomodate the 'minorities'. Hubs reported a supervisor who was stumble-down drunk one day at work, but because of his race, he was quietly sent home, with pay.

            I'm sure it will be OK. Hubs is a straight arrow. He is not a racist, or bigot, nor does he play around at work. The e-mail they are holding over him---- The People Of WalMart!!!!!!! I DON'T get it????

                He doesn't remember. I really think they're after someone in particular, and are building their case. They interviewed Hubs first, early in the morning, and were still talking to people who were worse offendeders later in the day. Besides, if they went after everyone of the 1'000s of management employees who received a questionable e-mail, they would have no employees. Hubs has never had a disciplinary action in 33 years, so this has upset him. I'd love to give the little smug bastards a piece of my mind.

                  I am sure it will be sorted Rubes, they probably just have to include him in their enquiries so as not to be seen to be biased. Very uncomfortable though.

                    Thanks, Starts. I've tried to reassure him, but his pessimistic nature has taken the reins and he's sure this is the end of the world. For him, to be questioned like this when he has seen the inequities for so long, it seems like it. He'll have his safe haven, anyway.

                      There was a similar incident at our work regarding something someone had said. The whole team had to be questioned it was really horrible, everyone felt guilty even though they werent.
                      I really hope its sorted soon, this wont help his depression poor guy....

                        The corporate security are like CIA to the employees there. The new political climate is rigid, Hubs has mandatory 'sensitivity' training sessions all the time. You have to understand 95% of these guys came up through the ranks, just like Hubs; men who worked with their hands and learned their mastery over the huge machines that make our electricity one day at a time, over decades. The other 5% learned how things should be done in college, in suits and white shirts, and they write the rules, and expect polite tea-table behavior from these guys. It's like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! :headbanger:
