What a crappy day (that started yesterday.) Dogs (3) got in a huge fight and one ended up at the vet all night. We gotta pick him up this morning. The worst thing is that their mother came in several times to tell me they were out there ripping each other up, and I just petted her and told her she was a good girl and ignored the alert. She must've been so frustrated with me.

I got wounded while trying to break the dogs apart, and now I have a finger (with a ring on it) that is swollen beyond belief, and my ring is stuck there. I don't think I can bear to cut it off, so I'm praying it doesn't cut off all the circulation to my finger. My vet told me to go to the doctor today to get antibiotics.

This "pulled muscle" on the back of my neck is getting worse. My friend Peggy says she thinks it's an abscess, so I get to go into Urgent Care today and try to see someone. My own doctor can't get me in until next Thursday. At least I can take care of my finger at the same time.

I feel like there's more, but maybe I'm overwhelmed by just that.

19 or 20 days AF --I forget.

The two boys still at home are limping and sore today, but at least they aren't ripped up like Gordy is. Thing is, Gordy probably started it. That's his MO.

I can always tell when my cow gets out of her pasture on Farmville. She starts hollering away. Thank goodness it's easier to get her back than a real cow.

Does sound like a crappy day. I hope your finger is ok - do take the antibiotics - an infection could be quite the inconvenience, to say the least.
