We don't actually do a x-mas tree, either

We have a tree in the garden with fairy lights - but they're on year-round

Very Christmassy! Love it!

Irish, know what you mean, but the grandaughter insisted on the tree as soon as I came home-before her arrival, I never decorated the tree before the 16th, which has always been a public holiday here.

Less than 3 weeks to go and I am facing into my first Christmas I can remember without spending days in a row sloshed. I am sure there will be lots of threads about this time of the year because it is going to be tricky for many of us here I assume. But you know what they say, forewarned is forearmed.
