I'm VERY impressed: I cannot make a proper poached egg. All my attempts have been miserable failures...

But the best of all: hopefully the cubs will be sleeping out tonight, and Mrs. T and I can go and have dinner someplace nice. No cooking of the food variety for me tonight!

Funny how you never realize how dirty your carpet is until you start snapping photos. We got Gordy back from the vet, and he's my patchwork dog now: http://www.urbanfool.us/lj/gordy.jpg

I need to come up with $700 fast or half our utilities are going to get cut off. Husband is working, but only a scant halftime.
