So many people have their want and wishes, but what are you truly thankful for this year? 2009 has brought many deaths and wars. I can proudly say, I am thankful for my father who survived another year with nicotine. He was an alcoholic for many years, but he beat the bottle, now he's facing another challenge. My heart goes out to you AF 30 day'rs plus beyond and nicotine free-ers. May God continue to bless you as time progress. :lilangel:

I am thankfull for my little boy, my misses and my little babygirl to come. pluss this place also.
also thankfull to myself for loving me enough to go AF for 45 odd days so far and counting.

thankful for the second chance at life that I believe going AF has given me, it affects all areas of my life. My marriage, my job, my parenting and my social time all for the better.

Thank you Raven, I am so blessed and thankful for many things in my life. This year has been VERY challenging for my family an I. I just pray everyone on this site stay blessed.

I'm so thankful for my life as it is today, not drinking no desire to,thankful for my husband and family, my job which as long as I stay sober I enjoy more and more, so thankful for the news that I am to be a grandmother for the 3rd time. So thankful that my head is clear and I can appreciate all that I have.

I am deeply thankful for my great kids and the hope that I get here that I can beat this addiction.

I wake each morning with the thrill of expectation and the joy of being truly alive,and i am thankfull for that. I am thankful to be still here sober,and living life in real terms and not in a haze of alcoholic fog, And thankful that i look at things in a more positive not a negative way .

Greatfullness, is our blessing. I'm also thankful for my holy spirit that is within me. That little voice inside of you telling you do what is right. I appreciate all your thankfullness. This means alot to me while the year is ending.

I am thankful for many things,

my son, who has given my life meaning
a career, that I still enjoy even after 20 years
my friends and family, whos love and support I cherish
a warm safe place to call home
my health, which continues to improve without AL

Thank you all, AKgirl, I really like your post. I feel if you can drive in Alaska, you can drive anywhere. I live in MI. And we are getting SNOW!! this winter. I'm glad I can be home with my family today. Thank you again.
