You know, I really admire those old arts that everyone used to do out of necessity. Canning vegetables, making clothes, quilting. My grandmother used to do them all, and I watched her with awe. I decided at one point that I wanted to learn to quilt. (Mind you, I had never so much as sewn a button back onto a shirt.) Anyway, I got as far as cutting out the pieces of fabric, and quickly realized I didn't have the patience for it. My hat's off to any sheilas or blokes who do those activities, though!

Potato guns.......or as we call them here tatar guns.
Actually home made with pvc pipe.
You stuff a potato into the small end and spray hair stray in the other end and click a switch . BOOM!
The potato goes way over the house where your friends are shooting back at you!

Thats my favorite guy thing to do! Oh and Belle catches the potatoes when they come down!:H

i think one indicator of my bloke side (besides drinking, swearing and whatnot) is that i'm the official spider catcher in this house. my husband doesn't mind doing it, but he enjoys it so much more when i do it! he thinks it's kind of hot.
