I had that soup in Portugal. It had a poached egg in it. I thought it was lovely,but now I come to think, it may be the 2 bottles of red wine that I'd drunk that made it so appealing.

Does garlic get rid of gray hair though. It would save me a fortune at the hairdressers.

Still lurking but not much to say today. I am going to attack the garden with a vengence soon and plan on spending about 6 hours out there. I am hoping it will clear my thoughts.

Method for oven-roasted garlic:

Slice off the pointy tip, place heads of garlic on pieces of heavy tin foil, just big enough so you can wrap it. Pour a little olive oil over it and wrap. Roast in 180C oven for 35 - 40 mins.

Allow to cool slightly, and then squeeze out the cloves... It will be all oozy and fragrant.

Thanks Mario. It is the middle of winter Tip. I need to clear a tree and some old hedging and I think hitting something with a large axe is what I need. Strugling a bit tbh.

Morning all. Late start here today due to weird dreams last night. Plus I convinced myself someone was battering at something outside at 2am, I had to get up to see what was going on, only to realise it was in my head. Take it extra blood has that effect times.
