I haven't been around much lately, WHY you ask???? I have been so busy and so happy, I simply have not had time. Me and my children have attended several events lately...The Nutcracker, The Rockette's, plays, etc... Now for those that know me here, you know that is HUGE...a major improvement from the past 3 years. I have not had one drop of alcohol since the first week of August. I have absolutely NO interest in it anymore. I don't feel like I am struggling to ward off the beast any longer. I tried every method known to man/woman and for me the turn around came when I started back to church. I am not bible beating any of you, so please dont get offended by my post, that is just what worked for me. It was the missing link to my sobriety. My daughter and I even have a Sunday school class now...WOW! There was a time when the thought of having to stay sober to attend one of my own children's school events seemed like a true task. I mean I would dread it. Isn't that sad? AL robs your life of some many wonderful things. I just wanted to stop in and say I love you all and I wish you all a wonderful sober, happy, safe holiday!
