Thanks, it is part of a quote from a book about a Dublin girl who is a recovering heroin addict. She went through hell but has now turned her life completely around. The sentiment just struck a cord with me. I think it is impossible to move on untill we achieve 'closure' (I think they call it) and some level of contentment with everything that has gone on in our past. I know for me that is true and the AL abuse stemmed from trying to numb the past out and not grieving properly. Sorry heavy stuff for this time of the morning.

Hello Tipperooney! Nope, no other ideas........a braai of legendary proportions to be enjoyed! Apologies to the vegetarians in advance but I will get some nice lamb cutlets and some decent pofadders or skilpaaidjies (not sure where to get besides in Moorreesburg where my old man is)......I will rely on your excellent local knowledge Tips!

Yeehaa! Will be on the road tomorrow before the sparrows and will post from along the way.......9 hours on the road with 6 hours of beautiful scenery.

Opal big smelly noisey diesels ? yuk.
Petrol head here, a big Jaguar 6 litre V12 is more like it, preference however would be for a big V-Twin motorcycle engine discusion.

Sylvanian hotel is basically a dolls house Grim.
A dareway is a battery operated thing they stand on and spin around the place.
