I know! No matter what drugs or how much booze I have sunk, that pure contentment was never really there. I wonder if we can cultivate those moments so they are there more often?

I think so. By quieting yourself and your mind. I wasn't thinking of anything really. Nothing I needed to do, etc. Just laying there looking at the flames, little doggie was lightly snoring....... FH couldn't be out of bed 5 minutes without the TV on. I hated that.

Glad you are feeling better now Tulipe, it can be so disheartening to feel low like that..I really do feel for you.
I am doing very well thanks, looking forward to starting my counselling and feel as if I am sorting out some stuff right now...
