well dunno if it's the pain killers or not coz legs don't hurt as much and I can go up & down stair without crying each step..no exhageration, it really hurt..
the swelling has gone down a lot, but still get out of breath and heart races but not as bad

but the painkillers are strong..didn't wake up till 9:45 this morn which is NEVER known for me... always about 6am or earlier..!!

the Islands have been on orange alert again, we had winds of 140 kms and very heavy rain and extreemly low cloud, different to fog, up where ollie is, it's right in the midst of it..! had to go for breath test then onto my ollie all about 600mts high !!!
lucky had big jacket, but still got blown to pieces..!

Hello LJ and et al.....

Here is my contribution to the Xmas spirit in the Army.....

These pics were taken a little earlier in the Cape Town suburb of Bothasig....these guys have a competition every year to see who can put on the best show......hundreds of houses decked out with all manner of wonderful lights and adornment...

Hello LJ, no I am just visiting family in this part of the world and I live about 1000 kms up the east coast towards Durban.

This is Tiggerland!

I/We (Tippers and I) will give you a run down tomorrow of the impending get-together that we are having on Saturday. I will try, as accurately as possible, to give you all a mental image (to be followed by a plethora of digital images) of the area of South Africa to which we are referring.....a beautiful part of the world......

I think it is time to get yis who are travelling on a strong currency (which is pretty much everywhere in comparison to our beloved Rand) to start gathering the invasion forces and visit us here at the southern tip of Africa!

I am out of here, need my rest....big day tomorrow...
