Men No Pause Here - Dec. 27 - Jan. 2

Hi, Menoprincesses! Hope everyone made it through Christmas!

I know this is getting close to resolutions time, which I usually never do. Recently I've been thinking about if I can use some of the tools that worked well for becoming AF, and applying them to some other life issues that have been neglected for far to long. I had an awareness of the true commitment idea's importance in my becoming sober, and realized I don't have it in another issue regarding an old dead relationship, and not allowing myself to move on. How I've made excuses over and over, when it's so clear to my closest friends that this is a problem I'd be a lot happier without, and yet for quite awhile I've refused to let go. Or I'm trying, it's a process, I don't know what to do, what will happen to me, will my life be worse..... (oh really???). Now what does that sound like?

Anybody else, resolutions, revelations, big or small?

That's all we can do Dancelot, keep trying.

My resolutions are simple in my head-today Jan 31.

    1. Surpass my first AF time and do 11 weeks fully. I'm now always the DD, but want to be AF totally even when not having to drive. Tomorrow is Day 1 for me.

    2. Yoga. Firm up this aging body of mine. Will go online for exercises Jan 2nd

That's it for me ladies. You?

Morning! and a happy new year to the glorious meno-princesses!!

Apart from being AF, I swear that this year I am religiously going to take my mascara off at night, so that I dont look like a panda bear in the morning!

Miss Behaving - that's something you have no excuse for anymore when AF (The only drawback I've found!).

Glad to see you back, and DLA too - I didn't want the Menoprincesses to disappear with 2009!

Have a safe and Happy New Year - and don't forget your tiara if you have one!

          Hi all,

I stopped on Christmas Eve so today is day 9 for me, I realised that out of the three of us, my two daughters (17 and 20) and I, that I would be the only one drinking on Christmas day and what was the point of that!

I'll be much more aware than last time as I've learnt how easy it is to get back into the old unwelcome ways without even thinking about it! So that's good.

As to resolutions, there are a number to do with moving on from where I am, my youngest daughter will start University in the autumn this year and so that is a big change for both of us and opens up new freedoms for me. I'm going to give them some thought so that I can be specific, I've never been very good at that (until now!). I think Dancelot's idea of the relevance of the MWO tools in other life areas is brilliant, specific intention, clarity and a plan is essential to any serious change.

I hope this year is filled with wonderful things for everyone. It certainly feels as if there has been a shift of some sort allowing the old to be released and the new to enter.
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.
