MA, I probably told you the samething thing Greenie and More2 said. You shouldn't have to give him shit! That is your house too, tell me to pay you rent! If you can't afford it, then he'll have to pay you half of any equity in it if he wants it, the atty's will have to get an appraisal. You are married, so the bills are his bills too. Why hasn't your atty gotten you a emergency temporary support hearing??? That should be done within 10 dys of filing! Also, if the boys don't go with you, then you don't need child support, if they do, you do! Doesn't Florida have alimony? He's already confessed to screwing around and told you who, not to mention his abuse of you....you have all the grounds to make this go your way! Not to mention, you can ask him to pay for your atty bills too, your atty can petition the court to make him pay, esp. if he's dragging his feet and being uncooperative about getting things done, and running up more hours! You need to get your atty to get you what you deserve, and NOW! Love ya!

That is what sux, Fl, they don't care if he has been cheating for a year or more, or whatever, don't care if he is a coke addict, pot addict, or alcoholic............they just have it simply 1/2 to 1/2, I have half his debt and assets, he has 1/2 of mine..............he is emptying his 401Ks to pay off his credit card bills and keeps telling me I need to do the same............I want SOME hope of retiring, I don't think so...........He just got home and started hounding me about 1/2 of the mortgage, which will take me for broke, along w/ everything else(just fear talking, I WILL be fine!!!) Am leaving to go to a friends for a while, just woke up, meant to take a 2 hour nap, turned into a longer one, by how long, who knows???? These hours are killing me............but if I get used to it, could be ok.........?????

MA, I get it, BUT, he has to pay you temporary support til the divorce is over, but you probably need to move out to get it! You don't owe him 1/2 the damn mortgage, its your house too....my gosh, can't your atty. get this under control? Tell him you'll move and he can buy your part of the equity out! If he can't, sell the place and get it, then pay off your bills. You can call the credit card companies and tell them what is going on, and they'll give you a payment plan to stay on track. You need to talk to your atty. right now! If she can't get this handled she's not worth paying!!!! He is running the plan, and the plan that needs to be in place, is by the attys!

BTW, half of your debt is his too! I know he doesn't want to get the paperwork together, so have the atty make the judge court order it! If he's really scared of the internal rev., he better get it together. For however long he's had that business, you are entitled to x amount of $$ for the time you two have been together. I don't know what your atty is doing, thinking or telling you....
