Hey ho!
Note to starty if she's not gone. Get vitamin D level checked. Low levels and D is real impt for lots of things, esp. in women. Breast tissue, bones..... Mine was very low and I am taking 50,000 IU once a week for 8 weeks. They cant' build it up slowly for some reason; so they blast it.sigpic

Evening, all
I just got thrown a curve-ball...
Turns out we're going to a NYE party, after all. The plan had been for the 4 of us to spend a quiet evening at home.
Its not a huge curve-ball, but I was surprised that the idea unsettled me so...I'll do whatever it takes

Army Thread 30th December
OK I had a PM from a friend on here, for which I thank them, who reminded me that MYO is for the good times and the bad. Often I tend to gloss over things or just not mention them. ie. I was kinda busy over Christmas, thats why I wasn't posting. The truth of the matter was after a delightfully early start to the day filled with delight and happiness, my day and world was turned upside down. My eldest brother, aged 43, was found dead in his flat. What hurts so much at this stage is not knowing either, what he died of or how long he lay before he was found. He has not been answering his phone the day beforehand either but with it being silly season we figured he was in the pub and didn't hear it or didn't bother answering. Now I'm away again, to feed the wee one, hopefully I'll get back later. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hey, Opes
I'm glad you posted about it and that someone reminded you what MWO is about. And even more so our little Army.
I am truly sorry for your loss, and I'll light a candle for your brother tonight.
Other than that, I can only say that we are here to at least try to ease things when you feel overwhelmed.
My eldest brother died suddenly at 39. That was five years ago, and it still hurts like hell sometimes. In fact, just thinking about it now, I get tears in my eyes and my throat closes up. So... you know where to get hold of me if you want to talk or just vent.
