Well the frustration continues with us in the prime of our season. But the fish are too far - some 160 nautical miles north and out of our range.
The traditional area during this time has yielded nothing over the past 3 weeks. However, inshore Yellowtail and Crayfish combo have delivered mixed fortunes with some days catching 20 and other days, 1 depending on the mood of the fish.
My gut feel is that we still going to see good fish during December, January and February, so watch this space…..
I have no doubt that the tail will continue making for exciting inshore charters and my hope is that the large volume of Snoek up the west coast decide to come down here.
All of these predictions rest in the hands of “King Neptune” so keep in contact and we will put you on the fish or whatever’s biting at that time.
