        Zen,

it really does scare them doesn't it?! My cats had a midnight curfew last night ....... although one of them was most unhappy about it! But then she is a sort of an adventurer cat who would chase a sky rocket (or even a rocket launcher!) to the sky if she could

As for where we all are TF - dont know about anyone else, but I've just emerged from my nana nap after a late night last night!!! TGIF!!!:H:H

My kitties got scared in the thunder/lightning display last night also.

Don't know if it's just me but I'm finding this NY Day extremely flat. It's a sort of non-day day. So I didn't trash myself during the whole Chrissie thing, went to bed sober last night to avoid any NY Eve nonsense, had a really big chuck out of the past year's box of bills and receipts, baked some bread, picked some flowers ... and yet I feel flat as a bloody tack. What's that all about?

Regard it as a slow build-up to great things...

              Is that helping? No?

Hello everyone, and hope 2010 is a good year for you.

Hmm flat as a tack. Me too. Ate too many choccies last night, and paying for it today. Took a (very lonely) friend to lunch to-day then unwrapped my new computer speakers and set them up.. I now have SOUND!!. But sort of bored.
Watched the beautiful moon last night through the gum trees, and the fab fireworks on TV, an doff to bed. Maybe I AM getting old!
Stay tuned for tales of my trip to India.....soon as I work out how to post pics with the story.

Ahhhh, first day of the year in Le Maison de Jonesy`.... spent lazing by the pool watching the kiddies splash about, not a headache in sight.
Well well Mr G. Look who came scuttling back in at 3.30AM.
Get a bit of trou down action matey ?:H
I really have, folks...... I've got the big Kev's about this year....
Besides a psychic told me it is going to be a dream year. That means it must be true.
Y'know Froglet, I find the time esp. between Xmas and New Year as boring as arse. I'm just glad to get out the other side, services open and past the anti climax.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                                Hey happy 2010 everyone,
Yep feeling pretty flat today meself.. except for the part where I got to sit in the hammock with youngest daughter under the apple tree.. that was a truly lovely 15 mins.. then back to the neverending pile of dishes as usual. We had the door open and I was saying 'what a lovely breeze' while my visitor said 'what? actually it's a really hot and muggy day, not very nice at all'. Still I thought, it is a lovely breeze!
Ahhh life is funny, the bits we look forward to and then the bits we rush past.. methinks it's not ALL supposed to be perfect. Even the quiet times and the flattish bits are rather nice too.
