Aw, Pete's been doin' it real tough since he & Katie hit Splitsville. And my brother's friend's cousin met Pete at the Ashes Pub in Notting Hill once and he had quite an eye for the mature ladies...methinks he was pissed & looking to pop Susan's Boyle...

And yes G - It is a delusion that one must drink al to have a good time. When I look back on all the good times the ones when I was not drinking stand out as the winners. Generally I just cringe at the really pissed memories.

Ronnie - I'm so proud of you - you sound happier & more positive! Go Aussie!!!

Missy B - I hope it's sunny & 27 again today for you...and no gusty winds. Temps over here are more doable today...prolly about 27 also & overcast.

Grinder, did you have to take the minutes of the meeting? I did the other week. What a pain in the ##$%^%$ to write 'em up, then send em to everyone. I had mine written up and sent the night before the next staff meeting! At least i did 'em i suppose. Hope the job's going well, and you would be becoming an irreplacable asset i bet.

....need to talk.....
went to funeral today (quite lovely and posh) sentimental etc...
lull in conversation lead to me asking neighbour about his stroke....which lead to inappropriate touching up scenario....mistaking interest for INTEREST.....(I am actually NOT kidding here, but chose to joke about it)
please advise.......does one wear same black number to funeral that one USED to wear to night clubs in younger days????Simple elegant pleated Monroe-esque number in Chiffon ( vintage) ??

Bridge, you, or anyone should be able to wear whatever you/they want to, anytime, anywhere, and a funeral is the last place we should worry about being touched up, let alone anywhere else. That's my opinion.

Thankyou for your reassurance folk... I knew I could count on you....and when I talk about above 'black number' ...is sleeveless yes....was a warm day here ....but demure in manner of Audrey Hepburn, worn with respectful attire etc.
