Thankyou VERY much for that. As it happens I've been re reading my copy of Atkins. It didn't help first time I used it. That's because I was doing it ALL WRONG....*slap forehead*
Here's the interesting part....I am perusing the 'supplements' section of the book....and what should I find but a recommendation for L-Glutamine....citing it as useful for cravings and helpful for alcoholics.....that bloody book was written decades ago....y'know ?
And there are some other really useful bits and bobs. I will review it properly and post some points of interest.
Ok.. I'll check out this other book and we can compare notes

Fickopaladopolous, I would be very interested to hear what you think of George from Kogorah's book, when you read it.

'Scuse me REggie - a real Greek question.

Do Greek brides ever hyphenate their names with their husband's when they marry? If so, please give an example. Thank you.

Well it's one of those textbook thingy's with meal plans & graphs & all that - something you need to write all over so that it sticks inniya brainous. Well NOT light reading.
I have several books on this subject.. insulin resistance... syndrome x... so on & so forth.. VERY difficult to read.. yet cannot deny it is happening to me for long time now. Am sure tis why I keep fallin off me perch. Last time i blame the exercise for making the blood sugar go wonky... time before that it was forgetting to eat (work+caffine). Ho hum.
