Ahh...you don't talk Greek at all,

you all talk in abbrieviations!! EMG , LMAO....???? it's enough to drive a girl to drink!!

talking of which, I had 2 glasses of champagne last night at my BBQ. I'm not proud of that, but I am proud that i managed to stop after only 2 !! realised the folly of my ways, jumped up and made a quick cup of peppermint tea ( all alcohol tastes shocking after peppermint tea!). So one step forard and 2 steps back. But the important thing I have learned over the years is that the one step forward is what counts!

Jane, stopping at 2 is brilliant. I don't see it as two steps back. If you were anything like me, previously the entire bottle of fizz would have gone. And when that wasn't quite enough yet ... there was an audible brain-snap when I thought a 'cleansing port' would be in order. And who in their right mind can stop after one port?

I cringe and shudder when I think of those days. I once thought I was going to die on an early morning flight from Syd-Melb with a champagne/port hangover. The brain ache, racing heart and extreme nausea were unspeakable.

That will NEVER happen again. Not a doubt in my mind.

It's a real drag at first for most of us, but it's SO worth perseverving. Get into your L-Glutamine for cravings and sit tight. One day very soon you'll wake up ...feel great... and realise it's all worth it. AND the cravings get less and less as you go along.

Jane - great going on the peppermint tea.
Sky - it can be a bugger (hence all the thrusting...like a plane taking off...a lot of thrust to get it in the air until cruising altitude) That & the word thrust makes me chuckle but I digress... Have you got some L-glut?? And some things to do...something good to watch or read, maybe a bath, plan something for the morning - a walk or something. Just sme suggestions.
