Riveting news from my world - let's see. Umm ... quote for fence arrived in the form of a - get this - type-written letter. Like - on a typewriter! I haven't seen anything "typed" for years. Come to think of it, I no longer get anything hand-written either. The heater I bought on that really hot day arrived and of course I had to assemble and test it today. Yes, it's 36C but I had to find out if it worked.

Saw a bloke got nabbed by the cops down Mornington Peninsular way with a blood-alcohol reading of .248. Scary stuff.

Received two jokes today which made me LOL:

1. I was walking through the cemetery this morning and saw a guy crouching down behind a tombstone. I said, "Morning." He said, "No, just taking a POO."


2. I went to an extremely attractive female doctor today for my annual checkup. She told me that I had to quit masturbating. I asked why and she said, "Because I'm trying to examine you."

I am KNITTING!!!!!

Been feeling the need to have something to do with my hands other than pour wine and lift it to my mouth. Found some great patterns for knitted toys done by Jake Henzler,, a 22-year toy designer from Sydney. (and its great how you can read the patterns when your vision isn't blurry!!:H:H) Have just finished Matthew, a green whale ..... although he still needs sewing up and stuffing. And they are just a bit small - might try the next one on bigger sized needles........

And there is orange wool .... I was contemplating whether Tigger might like a ccompanion for his travels when he eventually comes down under??

cant find a tigger pattern ........ but did find a truly amazing knitting site at the V&A museum ........... knitting patterns throughout the ages!!

....... and a lovely Eeyore pattern (in a fetching shade of grey .......!) with a label on it saying "Not for commercial use: personal use only and to pleasure others" :H The mind boggles!!

Crocheting with shaggy :

Boobie keychain pattern: For personal use only. You may not use this pattern to make items to sell.

Starting with nipple (pink yarn) use e hook

Row 1: Ch 2. 6 sc in second ch from hk. Sl st into first sc.

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc in each sc around (6 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc in each sc around (6 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 4: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around (12 stitches). Sl st to join.

Now for the breast (cream yarn) use f hook

Row 5: Ch 1. 2 sc in next st. 1 sc in next stitch. Repeat this all the way around (18 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc in each stitch around (18 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 7: Ch 1. 2 sc in next st. 1 sc in each of next 2 st. Repeat this around ( 24 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 8: Ch 1. Sc in each stitch around (24 stitches). Sl st to join.

Row 9-10: Repeat row 8. Sl st to join.

Row 11-12: 2sctog for next st (back loops only for first row). Repeat this around (12 stitches). Sl st to join.

Adding O ring (keychain part)

Ch. 1. Holding the key ring next to your yarn, bring your hook under the ring and yarn over coming back under the ring to bring up a loop. Make one sc. Put hook through next stitch and going under the fing again, yo and make another sc. Do this 5 times. this will secure the ring to the boob. Ch. 1. Sl st through all 5 sc you just made. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Twala! Now you have a boob keychain.
