Hey BB, I wondered where you had got to!
Obviously you were quietly wracking up those AF days and months.

thanks everyone. obviously as you all know it isn't really easy. there are about half of my old friends I really don't hang out with anymore b/c I don't like being around it. My fiance and I have had a few fights b/c she had friends in town and they all wanted to go out and of course I didn't want to go, typical situations like that. But I think it's all started to settle and there aren't really fights about it, my friends know what I'm uncomfortable around and it isn't really a huge issue with them anymore. I'm also a working musician so I've started to get used to playing a show w/o the help of alcohol. I really don't even remember what it feels like to be weighed down with all the toxins in your body as you wake up, being hungover and jonesing for a drink. I feel.....amazing. A couple of months after quitting I joined a gym and today I exercise 6 days a week and feel confident that I'll be able to keep it up. I'm very sorry I don't visit here as much as I should. How about that will be my New Year's Resolution. Thanks everyone, James.
