We say "big" because this is the first eclipse of the Moon to occur on a New Year's Eve since 1656, that's 353 years ago!" Well what a disapointment, it barely eclipsed a tiny corner of it here in Ireland, must have been better elsewhere I assume. Do you remember the full solar eclipse a few years ago? That was amazing.
JC good on you for ordering the book, hope you like it.
Hello Opal HNY to you too.

I'm already thinking of improving the recipe, or rather, devising new options.

Next time, I'm going to make a red prawn curry filling, with diced pineapple.

A vegetarian Thai curry would also be brilliant - with an assortment of veg julienne, still crispy when you bite into the wrap...

It was an incredibly beautiful night. I'm sure you could have read by the light of the moon.

I didn't notice the moon last night but tonight when I was coming home from work it was massive and very orange. Just went out to have another look at it but it's blowing a gale and you can't see anything - thank goodness I took my delicates off the line earlier - or they might have ended up in your swimming pool

Hey have you been talking to my DW again :H

We had about a quarter of that eclipse and it was at 5 oclock using your picture as being at say one oclock, if that makes any sense.

Oh and yes did know it was a blue moon, two full moons in the one month I am told by DW. I just showed her your picture and she says it was nearly as big here, I dunno but she is the one who had a couple of glasses of wine and she wears glasses too. The moon was huge this morning still.
Not showing her this post btw
