we haven't ever been on lots of threads together, but I have read so many of your posts.

I am so pleased for you and sure you will go from strength to strength. Your story is very similar to that of one of my brothers, who I love very much. He found the strength to escape the prison that alcohol and cigarettes had become for him, and to go back to his music (at which he was very talented). Sounds like you are doing the same with your poetry. Well done on your 6 months AF, and your decision to go back to school.

And I''m very envious of your meeting Sandy Toksvig!!

Hi Sean! How are you doing?! Sounds as if life has turned around for you - well done! Who'd have thought this time last year how far you'd come (not only physically!) but emotionally and mentally - just goes to show you're strong at heart!
I've not been on MWO for a while - partly 'cos I've lost my way recently and partly 'cos I've only just learnt how to private browse on my laptop (ha ha!!). Anyway, I'm back now as I need direction in my life and know I need to get a grip.
Well done you with your poetry award and you're obviously far to posh for us all here hob-nobbing with all those celebs (!!!)
