Can anyone tell me how it works to "bump" a post or to find a bumped post? I'm stumped with the bumps!:H

If you post a comment on a message it goes to the top of the pile, either new posts or the forum it lives in. So if you want to raise that post to the top, simpyly comment 'Bump' :-) hit 'new posts' and it will be at the top.
