I'm just glad I not standing down wind of ye.:H

I got collected and taken into the shops for a while this afternoon Starts but I haven't driven since 23rd December and going by the state of the roads it'll be a while yet before I do. Country roads are just solid ice.

Oh hell, the hardships......just received a call asking if I would be available for a photo shoot tomorrow morning....

Let me describe what I am seeing in my mind's eye......a lovely, warm early morning light....and new aircraft fresh out of the factory......the beautiful Transkei coast providing the perfect backdrop for air-to-air.....an hour of flying and photography....landing on a secluded beach somewhere just to stretch the legs....a big old English breakfast at one of the beach hotels.......

What a way to spend my last day of leave........yes, I said, I would make myself available!

Awwwh, the pic of Bess is priceless. Wish The Mighty Berit was so tolerant. Every now and then some confused creature tries (I emphasize TRIES) to cross her yard. It's never worked. Although we did have this one little stray kitten, Jazz, who was being pursued and bullied by the neighborhood tom, and he would go in and sleep with Berit. The only one to manage that trick.

A long time ago, FH turned the fireplace gas on high not knowing what he was doing and left it that way. I'm just now getting to cleaning soot and it's well.... everywhere. :upset: The inside of the windows were dirtier than out.
