We had a rather leisurely day, Grim

We all went to bed after 2.00 a.m. this morning. Mrs. T was 1st up to put the wheelie bin out at. 7.00.

I was second to show my face at 10.00 (or thereabouts). The 2 cubs had breakfast around 12.00...

Tomorrow morning we're off to the beach again, though I haven't had my annual blistered back & nose yet...

Do you know the origin of the saying, Zeps? When battle ships carried cannon balls, they had trouble with holding them in place on deck, so they designed what they call a 'monkey' to hold them from iron. But the iron froze easily, so they changed to brass, which didn't freeze as quickly. Ergo, the brass monkey's balls, and when they froze it was REALLY cold!
