    Army Thread 5th January

Maybe that is a big part of the problem right there Ruby.
Families are a big trigger for me and I am sure the agro over Christmas didnt help my cause. I am not blaming anyone else for my drinking btw. I am 100% responsible for my own actions.

Ah Starty what a lovely term of endearment, 'slimeball'
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Watch it for sure. I watch it as often as I can, especially during Christmas. Funniest Chevy Chase movie, or ANY Christmas movie ever!!

Nothing like a big bowl of home made veggie soup to warm the cockles of your heart. I just chop whatever veg I can find in the bottom of the fridge plus a spud or two and boil with organic stock cube, s&p. Simmer for 20 mins and partially liquidise. Bobs yer uncle. Throw in a few red lentils if you want.

By the way: is it because of the Army Thread that we have a new sticky on the General Forum?

Ah... but the secret is to roast those veggies with a little olive oil beforehand... especially things like pumpkin, squash or sweet potato...
