    One Year Sober for Mario!!!!

    Mario, many many congratulations my friend. You have worked so hard for this and been such an inspiration to us all along the way.
    Always there to welcome the newbies, give a helping hand to us "oldies" and share your experiences and humour with us on a daily basis.
    Oh and to cap it all, you are about to become a superb grandad
    You are one in a million!
    Joe, you are a true gentleman and shining star around here :l

                        Huge congratulations on being sober for one year. I just re-read your story. You have certainly conquered a mountain to get where you are today. As others have said and I as well, you are truly an inspiration to us. You have managed not only to overcome your addiction, but to build new relationships with your children and their mother. That too, is an accomplishment to be looked up to.

                            sober dry since 11th Jan '2010' relapse/slip on 23/7/13 working in progress ! Sober date 25/7/13 ( True learning has often followed an eclipse, a time of darkness, but with each cycle of my recovery, the light grows stronger and my vision is clearer. (AA)
                            my desire to avoid hitting bottom again was more powerful then my desire to drink !
