No, not yet. Although their day will come

The slave reference is meant jokingly. It refers to our gardener and domestic worker.

now thats something I do miss....a garden, used to love planting different flowers & plants used to plant the seeds from different veggies we would eat...peppers, pumpkis, melon, tomatoes..they were the best, always tasted better than from the shops...
ollie made the holes, he loved it & bonnie was the tidy one with her watering can...

                fun days

Morning LJ, Tip and all to come. My internet connection is still playing up which is a big pain. The water is being turned off intermitently as there is now a water shortage because of all the people who left their taps on during the cold spell to stop them freezing, you couldnt make this stuff up. Oh and my boiler finally wheeezed to a halt and I had to get the engineer out with his tools and a large bill. Apart from that all is well in KTAB-land
I did pop my head in last night for an hour but it resembled the Marie Celeste here.

wasn't your boiler only just repaired or was it a new one ????

Ah sure it is only material stuff. Could be much worse LJ, I am alive, healthy and sober.
Boiler is only 18 months old and top of the range jobbie, cost approx 10k (that was when business was good) Thankfully it was only a small motor part that was gone but a pain none the less. Ok I have to run, off out the door, see you later hope you have an enjoyable productive day.

                        Good morning lovelies!
KTAB, did folk really leave their taps on????????
Wodja gonna do about the boiler? That is such a pain in the arse. And why do they always go in this weather I wonder.....
Well I am like a freshly steamed something or other this morning after a spa night last night. Was wonderful, beautifully relaxing in grecian themed pool with salt rooms, crystal rooms, ice caves, therapy pools and a gorgeously lit swimming pool. I felt like I was in paradise.
Oh and I swam 12 lengths so actually feel like doing some more exercise now!

                          Good morning all.
Starts that sounds like a wonderful way to spend an evening. KT is the boiler not still under warranty?
TG to see the snow gone at last, at least we can get about a bit easier.

What is this about water shortages over there?

Water shortages all over the place Starts where some people left taps running to prevent them freezing but also a lot of houses that were not lived in or were empty over the holidays suffered burst pipes. Dublin was using more water per day during the cold snap than they normally do on the hottest summer day.
