we had an older lady (80ish) who used to come into the vet clinic where I worked. She had the most wicked personality and we had a wonderful time teasing one another when she came to the clinic.

One story that springs to mind is when I got a very strange look from my boss who walked in on our conversation and didn't know of the banter we shared.

This lovely lady was always teasing me about giving her a discount - anyway one day when she was at the counter paying for some cat biscuits she asked "Couldn't you give a nice old lady a discount" -(my boss had just walked in) and I replied "I tell you what - when I see a nice old lady I'll give her a discount".
