Tawny, one can delete a POST. One cannot delete a THREAD.

Sorry to disagree - but one can delete a THREAD if one is the originator of the THREAD.

I had forgotten it and was going to point that out, but you are bugging me now. All is fine already. If you look at it, you will see there is a redirection. Please, by all means, start a thread yourself, delete it and tell me how, just for my benefit of knowing how.

Don't suck any eggs, Tawny. Nowadays we have to worry about Salmonella in the raw eggs. When we were younger, Salmonella had not been able to cross into the eggs, but it learned and now we are all in a mess. No raw eggs. Something I crave all the time. (NOT)

Sky, you truly can delete an entire thread if you started it. Just go to the post and edit it. If you delete that POST, it deletes the thread. (I would never doubt something Ms. TF says about what you can and can't do on MWO. She has been around a long time. She kinda knows this stuff but won't shove it in your face. One of our more graceful, if a bit idiosyncratic, members.)

Not sure what thread you wanted to delete but your post about Aussies and alcohol hit home for me. I was slowly letting AL take over my life to the point where my family was second place. Truly. Didn't think of it that way but my actions spoke louder than words.

Mean b@st@rd, old AL is. He insinuates himself into our lives and then wreaks pure havoc on us after making us too weak too fight back. Hate the bugger. (Learning all kinds of new words here...)
