Thought I'd better post before you all start gossiping about me.
Another night out last night. I'm getting quite practiced at driving to venues, sitting there with an unspecified clear liquid in my glass, which I buy myself of course. Having real adult conversations, which I then remember. I'm actually making new friends of both genders now, and the Jones world is opening up a bit at last. Good eh?
Cowgal, I can't tell you how good it is to see you posting here. What you can do for us, is look after yourself, and do whatever it takes.

Yes Tips. 173 lives lost a year ago today. I remember the day well. In my neck of the woods it was 48C with an unbelievably fierce north wind. We've just had a minute's silence and there are many Church/community services being conducted right now.

It's all very sad.

I can't believe it's been a year. Seems like yesterday that those horrible images were all over the TV. What a helpless feeling.

Today is a day to reflect I remember that day its etched in my mind ...Australia is a beautiful country but 'that day'.... Hell chose to visit..... 48 C with a howling 40 knot Northerly blow torch wind..My thoughts are with the families and communities that have to deal with the loss of life, home and community on that horrible day

Hello all,
Just reading back.. have houseguest returning tomorrow night so not sure when i will check in again next.. Thinking of everyone all the time and of course, thinking of all those who suffered through Black Saturday last year. Could not bear to turn on the TV tonight... too much horror to relive. Am sure it has been a very hard weekend for many in Victoria and my heart goes out to them.
I'll sneak in for a peek soon as I'm able.

Yes, I'm on line. Spend more time on here than Face Book nowadays.

It was in the Q Weekend section on the Courier Mail. I'm not sure how widely available that is.

It's the middle-age, middle-class women justifying why they drink x amount of glasses of wine per night; going to bed tipsy; doing the school run with a hangover.

Well Tawney, i could'nt remember if you said to leave your mini mouse light on or not and as you looked so peaceful sleeping tonight, I left it on for you.....just in case you had to go to the loo in the night hon.....
Ive had such a busy weekend I am going to bed myself now.....I will chat more in the morning but all is good here....I never new I had so much energy!!!!
