Mozzies are weird this year. Can't see 'em, can't hear 'em but zapppp. They get me.
Just knocked off and having a POETS day but not before I finished sugar-soaping the bathroom walls (and ceiling) ready for a re-paint sometime this weekend.
Wonder if Otto the shower man will appear tonight. Was last Friday communal shower night? Will Ficks be visitor-free again? Are Bridgey's eyelashes still flutterin'? Are Wavey's sunflowers gigantic yet? So many questions. such little time ...
Oh - and Aspy - just had another thought - apart from money saved, if you could approximate how long it would have taken you to drink each of those drinks you could get a rough idea of how much time you spent just parked on your khyber guzzling grog. Bet that would be scary too.

Re cat names ....... I was also thinking along those lines (Mr B suggested an australian theme given that he is still there.). But I had Ficks, Ronnie, Betty and Sky also. And Wavey of course, but haven't seen him for a few weeks. Anyway, as a matter of principle we dont name them for 48 hours ....... do this as a matter of principle after one in a litter early in our fostering career (named after the small daughter of a friend at her request) didn't make it. Not uncommon in large litters and where the mums have been a bit neglected.
anyone that doesn't want a cat namesake let me know!
I love POETS day ........ have enough time to watch a DVD, hang out here, and do the washing and still get to bed at a reasonable hour! Annd work was boring today ....Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

MissB - my suggestions were purely based on our penchant for applying the diminuative form to one's name by the addition of a "y" or an "ie". So Ficks surely would need to become Ficksy, Ronnie is fine, Betsy is fine but, as you know, - when we have a short name, we lengthen it and/or totally stuff it around - ergo Sky would need to become Scraper. Get my drift?
I knew a guy with the surname of Bright. Forever, he was known as Notso.
