Great! I've missed bath-time. I'll have to wait until next Friday to get clean.

Bridge - You should have left the water in. I don't mind sharing! :yuk:

Where's Mr. G ? Haven't seen him for a few days and he could probably do with a back scrub.

forgot the wombles, i used to live in london as a kid, loved the thought of finding them at the local common...think it was mitchum common.
we lived in crydon, and in tumbrigewells in the late 70's when it was a tiny place.

            Morning all,

Rats - I missed bath night. I was engaged in a bidding frenzy on Ebay in preparation for next Friday's Ablutions Event and eventually won my item #3786775o2. Yes - two dozen Ped Eggs - for our combined enjoyment.

            Have a gorgeous Saturday, dahlinks.

never heard of ped eggs - had to go and look them up!!!

Went to the market this morning and got heaps of really cheap tomatoes, so am in the process of making tomato soup, tomato chutney and general tomato mush to keep in the freezer.

I love wombles!! Think I'll go with those as names for the kittens. Mum is called Sunshine and I reckon that Sunshine and the Wombles has a nice ring about it!!

But Sheep - promise you that there will be a kitten with your name on it in the next litter!!

Wimbledon Common, Aspy. Can you remember the song....I can sing it for you if you want! :H

I know Croydon (a bit) - didn't live too far from there. I was married in Tunbridge Wells and my son was born there.

When did you come out here? You sound too young to be a 10 pound pom!

Reggie, mate, you still with us? Have you still got eyeballs?

If you've developed bubonic plague you need to paint a red cross on your door and listen out for a bell ringing (often accompanied by "bring out your dead").

Do not get the bell ringing confused with the Home Ice Cream man.

Hope you haven't given Bridge anything infectious. I'm glad she emptied that bath now.

yer, i remember the song, we still have the record. as a ten year old I hopped to see them at every garden like area, so the local common was a likely spot.
I am 37, my grandparents were 10pounders, then returned to eng when I was 3yrs. my mum was rather young when she had me so we went too.

                            Morning Gangstas
Slept like a loufah'd (how the HELL do you spell it) baby last night. Thankyou Otto the grot-O.
And how are your nails Froglet ? Filed down to a boney knub ?
I CANNOT WAIT for Spa night. I'll bring the chocolate and the face masks ( and I remember one spa night where we blew a joint and got creative, so if anyone's up for it...)
Missy...I like where your head's at. Up early, off to market....into the kitch with your wholesome produce, and cook up a storm.
AF life really IS better innit ?
So Spam and Aspy are both ex -pats then ? We have a growing list. Shame we can't get some Scrumpy Jack in then. Might have to settle for some Boots products for Spa night.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Christ I never thought of that.
Personally I had to go to bed with a chainsaw and cut myself out this morning.
Perhaps we better do the rounds and emancipate the others from their cocoons ?
