      Oh dear,
      I just pissed myself laughing re last night.
      Not only did a friend pop round with a bottle of wine, but I was dashing between 2 forums and Facebook....:H
      I've actually turned into a bit of a cheap drunk :H
      Now Mr G re the mint...it takes off mate....spreads everywhere.
      Plant it in a pot, then plant it pot and all in the garden to restrict it.
      Looks like they're all still at the RSL....

                  Well, I have to do another 30days...sober March. Slippery slope I'm on.
                  Just had to put it out there....tried Feb & got waylaid. Gonna need you peeps.

                          Got up early for my swim, but it was cancelled because of the tsunami warning. It is passed the time that it was expected to arrive, but everything still on alert (particularly further north where there are evacuations, and some signs of water receding in Gisborne).

                          Sounds really awful in Chile ......

                            hey guys, when you wake up, take the tsunami warning seriously if you are on the east coast. There are some serious evacuations going on here at the moment ...... not so much here, but big time in Christchurch and Bay Of Plenty/Coromandel/East Coast

                                the thing that they are emphasising here is that there is not likely to be "one wave" but a series of surges, and that they will probably continue over the next 12 hours. A friend whose appartment overlooks Wellington harbour sayd that she has never seen it look like this ........... discoloured and like an extra low tide, but like simmering water.

                                I just discovered that one of my nieces (currently on her honeymoon) is in Chile at the moment. I didn't know she was there (she has been travelling around S America for a couple of months) until she sent out a message from her facebook page to reassure us all that she was safe
