Our friends with the little farm just outside Stellenbosch brought us a basket of their veggies, as well as some free range eggs.

I had Marmite toast fingers & soft boiled eggs for dinner

The basket included:

Green beans
Tomatoes (regular + cherry)
Brinjals
Green pepper
Cucumber

The fruit and veg over here are a bit crap at the mo.

It's the end of the winter season and haven't really got into the new season and I don't like buying from overseas (carbon foot print etc etc)

I had strong milky tea in a huge mug as well

Our fruit & veg are currently very good. Except for things like broccoli.

Plus the grape harvest has started - some really nice varieties. And litchis & mangoes... Sweet melon... Late strawberries (small but intensely sweet)... Bananas...
