Congratulations, phuong! Today is my 1 week AF! Starting to feel better. My husband has not drank in 4 days! I am so excited for him! I've been trying to spend time with him watching TV in the evenings, when we always drank. Only problem is I miss my time in the site during this "always drink" time. Oh, well, gotta do what you gotta do. My parents are coming for a visit tomorrow. I've been cleaning house and yard, trying to make everything "perfect" as i always do. I get so tired and stressed out by the time they get here that I normally drink with them. This time I am going to tell them that Paul and I do not drink anymore and hopefully they won't pull out theirs. Hope everyone is doing great! Check in later. Love you all, VickiI'm not what I should be, I'm not what I could be. I'm definetly not who I want to be,
but I'm sure not who I used to be!

I'm disappointed in myself for allowing someone here to push my buttons. They did a lot of name calling, which is common in those in their early struggles, and I should have known better than to engage in a 'debate'. I hope those of you who know me KNOW me, and believe I want the best for everyone here, whether we agree or not. We don't always feel the same way about political issues, but that's OK, and it's a volatile issue, but we're here to work on our sobriety, not worry about things out of our hands. Agreeing to disagree is a good thing, unless it affects the AL in our life. So, please accept my apologies for allowing my ego to become involved in something that has no place here.
