My neighbors and myself have spent the last 2 days digging our way out of 28" of snow here in Baltimore. Some places in Maryland got as much as 33". But wait the fun has just begun.........were suppose to get anywhere from 10 to 20 inches tonight ! " I hate Winter ! ha IAD

UGH, IAD! Sorry about all the snow, I can't imagine how bad the flooding will be when it melts. Are you able to keep the snow off your roof?

More......Not too bad on my roof......it seems to be doing it's job. Their are reports around the area about roof cave ins......A Fire Dept in VA caved in....this problem is in the Mid Atlantic area. My wife and son are off from work ( son's internship in DC and wife Cenceus Buerau ) My daughter (MDU) and youngest son (High School) are off from school the rest of the week. The oldest when going to school will be off too ( Towson U.).....Big shut down in this area. IAD

If we had two inches of snow in Seattle the schools would shut down. Here in the desert they shut down for rain.

Lordy! IAD, you too! I had 25 1/2" two days ago. Another 8-10" by tomorrow night. Winds this time. So far the power is on. Hub got stuck out of town. Let's just say I learned how to electronically start our snow blower and we have become intimate friends. LOL! On a serious note, I pray for people who loose their water, power or who are homeless. Wow! IAD and others in the East.....you guys are really getting hammered with snow! Again! I hope that you stay warm and can enjoy getting some reading and listening to music etc done to keep you relaxed and busy!

I feel your pain IAD. I live in Northern VA right outside of DC so we're getting the same stuff. Snowing out like crazy again. My kids have not been in school since last Thursday.

As I awoke this morning (early) to preform my usual constitutional, I peered out side my window and saw at least 10" of new white stuff'.......hark....the news man says that at 10:00 am they're calling for Blizzard condition ! Is'nt that wonderful ! Will keep you all abreast of the misery the Mid-Atlantic must endure this week.........Ha! IAD
