:hallo: Mario - good to see you and hope you have a safe flight home. A sunny/cloudy day here in Stirly-Land. It's a holiday - known as Clean Monday - supposed to be the day we empty out our kitchen cupboards and fridges of all the foods we won't be eating during Lent. In other words, we're officially allowed to pig out!!:happy: The custom has the people flying kites so will take a walk down to the sea later to see all the pretty coloured kites dancing over the water. A fine day to you all...

I have a busy week coming up, its half term from Uni but they call it reading week, it means I have to get two books read this week, plus a training day at the Centre on Wednesday, a funeral on Thursday then off to the coast Friday!! Best get going then :-)

Good morning all and especially well done to Fantasy Haircut! (love the name!)

Housebound today..kiddies could not go to school as came down sick yesterday...not good,washing machine is on overdrive.

The Monday off thing to clear your house for Lent Stirly sounds like a fantastic idea,might push forit here. I too forgot about Pancake Tuesday...do I go for real lemons or the squeezy plastic job, whats it called again,Jif or something or is that a cleaning product?

I always used to give up sweets for Lent when I was a kiddie, no mars bars for guessing what it is now, but we always got a reprieve on Paddys Day when we used to stuff our faces till we got sick, not good training on moderation for the future I fear.
