    Sugar-Free Lent

I'm in. I've been reading more about Apple Cider Vinegar, inspired by That Other Thread, and I'm hoping that ACV to sugar treats will be like Kudzu to AL. :H Plus a little L-Glut.

    Day 1 SF for me.

So, we do get Easter eggs at the end of this, right?

Also, how ruthless is everyone being? I've just got home from work and need to make bread. Had to put a teaspoon of sugar in with the yeast to activate it.

              Marshy,

I'm not being too ruthless. Mostly for me it will be the chocolates, cookies, cakes, candies, ice cream, etc. I wouldn't worry about the sugar for the bread!

                      Sugar-Free Lent

I ingest 70 grams (~2/3 cup) of pure sugar 4 nights a week. I eat 20 grams of fructose when I eat 200 grams of an apple or pear 4 times a week too. Outside of those 8 meals I avoid sugar like it is the plague. Other than that all the sugar I get is from vegetables.

I decided not to allow stevia or agave nectar (just in a couple types of tea). :upset: I know what will happen if I make allowances. I figure enough unkown sugar will get in there as it is. I read lables but "they" are always thinking up new words to hide it. But marshy if I baked I'd go for it.

Day 2. Who knew there was sugar in the lime tostito chips? It's OK.......not that chips were a problem or anything......

                            Day 2 here as well.

I am allowing stevia or erythritol but no stuff like honey or agave nectar.

Marshy, I would go for the bread too. Just leave that cake alone. :H

I'm in! I'm going to allow for stevia. Wisdom Naturals Liquid Stevia is devine. I love the chocolate, vanilla cream, and lemon drop. Put a few drops of lemon cream in seltzer water and it tastes like cream soda.

                              Buy SweetLeaf Stevia

What's this about apple cider vinegar. Do tell...
