His connection is through my mother. I still have my father's family, and several other branches to look for. It's a lot like a mystery, connecting one person's clues to another. I've read some wonderful stories along the way.sigpic

Ruby - I think this is fascinating. I was looking through an "ancestry" site yesterday and they even had lists with the names of people who were on board ships that arrived from the UK, etc, the name of the ship, the year it landed and where. G, I luurrvee old cemetaries. One year my mother gave me a huge cemetary book for Christmas! :H
SG, I've got a copy of the the passenger ship 'The Swan' which brought my ancestors over in 1623. Neat!sigpic

Truly amazing Ruby - as I said yesterday, my ancestors arrived in Canada from Ireland - I could be a distant cousin of Mario's!!
