was up late last night couldn't sleep was just counting how many ways you have to toss & turn before you fall asleep....

then came into the chat here..til my eyes dropped..!!

this was from back in 2008, but I think it must've been started before???????

Good morning/afternoon soldiers!!

I am feeling so awesome after all this time. How many days has it been? Does anyone remember when this thread started?

Even though I was AF prior to this thread (just a few days, though) I am counting the start of this thread as my first AF day, because it was the first time I really "got it" that I must be AF, no if ands or butts.

I hope all my platoon mates are up and at 'em and marching forward.

All of you have been such a help and great company.

Hi All,

Hope you Northern Hemisphere guys are having a good day. Bed time here after a hot humid day (again)!! However, the evening temperature has dropped below 25 degrees C so 10 year old son has gone to bed with a hot water bottle!! Methinks he has acclimatised! We're really poms so maybe I should take him back to the UK for a bit to toughen up!! (We'll be back in June - he will freeze then.)

LJ - Thanks for the advice earlier. Sorry I missed you. After the run, I attacked the playroom and son's trail of general destruction.
